Primarily for White Wolf/Onyx Path, I've spent years on setting design and game design for roleplaying games, including such titles as Scion: Hero, Mage: the Awakening, Exalted Second Edition, Werewolf: the Forsaken, and Demon: the Fallen.
Full-time work in the industry is rare. I spent three years as an RPG developer in the pits of Wizards of the Coast. I worked on nearly every fourth edition book that passed through the department, at least a little. Titles I did more work on include Adventurer's Vault, Adventurer's Vault 2, Manual of the Planes, Player's Handbook 2, and the Gamma World Roleplaying Game.
